who you are is quite enough, you are worthy of love & beautiful.

"For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be. " Psalm 139:13-16

You are beautiful. Your self worth should never be tied to any single human being. Recently, I've been seeing alot of couples around, clinging to their significant other. My challenge to those people is, let them go. If you find yourselves constantly trying to please another person, and looking for them to tell you you're "okay" the way you are, you will never be satisfied with yourself. You are God's child, His beautiful masterpiece, a single work of art. If you don't know your self worth, you will be walked all over, taken advantage of, and left feeling alone and hurt. In Psalm 139, our self worth is so beautifully portrayed. It simply states that we are His piece of work. He knitted us together, wove every ounce of us into the beautiful human we are today. He knew exactly what He was doing when he gave you that curly hair you can't stand, the heighth that limits you, the freckles that cover your poreclain skin, and those rosy cheeks that light up your face. You are a priceless work of art. You are beautiful, you are sacred, you are treasured, you are loved. I know way too many girls that have zero self esteem, resulting in running to the things of this world to find their worth. Whether it be another boy or alcohol, searching for something like your worth will leave you tired and without answers. A boy will temporarily make you feel good about yourself, tell you you look pretty on a daily basis, text you cute things, etc. Your security is not, and never will be found in another human. Especially not a boy. Your security will be found in Christ alone. That's where You're found, that's where You're made whole. Your beauty is not the clothes you wear, the heighth of your hair, or the number that appears on the scale. Your beauty is found when you are desperate for the Lord, hungry for salvation, thirsty for the Father. That's when you're the most beautiful. Serving God and loving people, you are absolutely gorgeous. Find your hope and find your self, and never waste your time looking for something that can only be found in our Emmanuel.
